Our week in WI...
The first few days were a little rough. Cali had a hard time adjusting to the new environment, chaotic schedule, and new faces. She would cry every time anyone else would hold her, or even sometimes look at her!...but things got better as the week progressed.
The Milwaukee zoo with the Zieglers, followed by pedicures for Michelle and I while the boys watched the kids. Not too sure about those goats, huh Cali?
Chocolate covered bacon at the State Fair...the verdict?--gross.

"Uncle" Geoffrey
Cheyenne: "Hey Geoffrey, (friend from high school), I thought you said (back when i was pregnant) that you were gonna come out to CA to visit this summer?!...There's only 1 weekend of the summer left before we head to WI and then I go back to work, soo...."
Geoffrey: "Oh yeah...I'll work on that..."
A few days after that conversation, Geoff was flying standby and arrived in CA to visit us and meet Cali!
Geoff got a lot of "quality" time with the baby whether he liked it or not--aka...a lot of apartment time (tv/rented movies, BBQ on the roof, Cali dancing/singing to Geoff's guitar playing) and errands to get ready for our upcoming WI visit...
But we did the best we could to get out as much as possible...

Because it was pretty chilly and our tent cabin didn't have heat, we decided not to keep Cali overnight there, and drove home after a great spaghetti dinner and pudgy pie smores. Cali slept through most of the day and obviously won't remember it, but we have great memories that we'll share with her someday!
