Daddy bought Cali a piggy bank that she absolutely LOVES. We have to hide it from her most of the time. We obviously have to watch her like a hawk when she's putting money in it...she's only managed to get one penny in her mouth. :)

If you look close, you can see her painted toes in these pics. She came home from daycare like that one day.

And here's the Frankenstein walk--this is actually the first day she really took off. A light bulb went on for her, and then she must have walked for a good 2 hours straight. For a week she was walking with her arms out and her mouth wide open.

Memorial Day

How did we get a month behind again?!

My mom's side of the family gathered at my grandma's house on the lake for the weekend. I think there were 16 of us! Cali slept in the master walk-in closet, aka the Petite Salon.

Cali's 1st Birthday!!

Her first word: Uh ooohhhh

Her weight: 19 lbs

Her mobility: Can walk a dozen steps or so, but still prefers to crawl

Her allergies: It appears she's NOT allergic to dairy anymore!--haven't tried soy yet

Awww...poor thing, stuck her finger in her birthday candle flame. She wasn't feeling good that day either, so she wouldn't even eat a bite of the yummy banana bread cake her Grammie made her.
